So, February is over and I’ve got a bunch of new songs. Once they’ve been tidied up a bit, remixed, sorted, artworked and filtered there will be a new album called ‘Cosmic String’ for all to enjoy. Until then, you can hear the songs as they currently sound by going to my FAWM profile page.
Here’s ‘Driving Alongside a Train’, one of my favourites from the month.

I also have a song featured on ‘Show Me A Word That Rhymes With Pavement’, which is an excellent Pavement tribute album. I did ‘Zurich is Stained’ and I’m colossally proud of it. The other tracks are all great too – in fact you could say that they’re gold sounds!!!!
The CRY ME A RIVER PROJECT continues apace! This is the 2009 version, and it is noisy.

Hooray! My song ‘Photographic Memory’ was played on Tom Robinson’s Introducing show on BBC Radio 6music last night.
You can listen again for the next week or so HERE (I’m at about 1hr 30mins) and apparently there will be a podcast that also includes the song available soon, so THANK YOU 6 music!
If you’ve found this site as a result of hearing the song on the radio, feel free to hit up a load of completely free music from the links under Albums to the right. Planet of the Tapes is the best one.
Incidentally, Tom Robinson did say that I’m a member of Mascot Fight, which isn’t true, but I did play drums for them for one song once so I’ll let him off.
I thought I’d have a go at recording myself playing a song, to see what my camera is like for that purpose. Turns out it’s “adequate but not spectacular”!!!
You can download the original recording of this song here.
Here are the details that I promised in my previous post! The details regarding the gig!
